The mission of
Baton Rouge School of Court Reporting (BRSCR)
is to provide a focused, structured skills and academic program to students
wishing to enter the fields of court reporting and scoping.
The philosophy of
BRSCR is to provide a stress-free, supportive environment most conducive to
the students' success as students and eventually as working court
reporters and scopists. The main focus of the program is to instill a growing confidence
in the mastery of skills and knowledge base a student achieves as they
progress through the curriculum.
BRSCR is licensed by
the Louisiana State Board of Regents and adheres to all policies and
regulations of same. BRSCR is also a member of the NCRA, National Court
Reporters Association.
